Himavad Gopalswamy Betta. Please read thru...

All the above photos are from a place called Himavad Gopalswamy Betta, which comes under Bandipur National Park. There is a Temple of lord Krishna on top of this Hill and it is full of FOG. Hence the name Himavad Gopalswamy betta is being used from ages. This beautiful, picturesque place comes under protected area of forest department and also is a critical tiger habitat.

You might wonder, then why is the forest department allowing people to go there? its because of the temple. Though everyone is allowed to visit the temple, no one is allowed or permitted or free to get into the Forest beyond Temple Premises. But still people go there create mess, throw plastic and other trash, shout, make noise. They also litter the place with alcohol bottles and cigarette butts thrown all over the places.

I request everyone reading this blog to behave yourself whenever you visit this place. Make sure you are not throwing any trash. You are not getting into forest as it may prove fatal to your life. Since there are all sort of animals like Elephants, Leopards, Cheetals, Sambar and most importantly Tiger. Maintain cleaneliness and advice others also.

I fear this place may loose its beauty if we continue to spoil the place at this rate. Do you like a unknown person to visit your house and litter, shout, drink n smoke? Your answer is always a STRICT "NO" , then why you go and do it in the place of wildlife, which gives you everything, water, fresh air....etc?

Ask yourself.
